New owners who are very nice. Stated they took on the KOA from an owner who had not kept up with the maintenance. They are putting forth good effort to upgrade. Front lot is pull through, rear is for back in and tents. The roads, sites are in need of new gravel and really needs grading. After a good rain this place may be hard to drive through. Lots of road noise, but very wooded, pretty. Playground was next to a deep pond, not near any sites. The showers were tiny, larger people may have problems with closing the door behind them. Although the showers, bathrooms were dated, they were clean and the water was very hot. Little store, pricey, coffee was 1.50. Most importantly though, this campground's entrance is quite steep. We took it at an angle and didn't bottom out, but could see where many campers have scraped. I would reccomend that if your unit rides low, avoid this spot. Leaving the campground we put the truck in low gear, as it is a steep decline. We will not camp here again.

This was a great ocean front camp resort with lots of activities for our kids. The week we stayed they had vacation bible school, concerts, contests, and art activities. The staff is friendly and very present, the patrol drives around on golf carts and are quick to respond to problems. While we were there a child came missing and we witnessed the patrol quickly get out his map and locate the campsite the child was last seen at. Within minutes he was found. The pool is clean, there is a professional maintenance man for the pool on duty every day. The store is nicely equipped, laundry and arcade /breakfast/pizza parlor/ ice cream shop on site. This campground allows only families to stay, and there are kids everywhere. Teenagers are on golf carts everywhere too, but patrol does well to keep them in line. Every night there is a fun golf cart parade! The ocean front site we had was 3 campers away from the ocean, the sites near the pool are about 3 minute walk away. The ocean sites have "cabanas" to provide shade. Some of the pool side sites looked hard to get into. There are permanent residents here, but they take pride in their ownership and keep the resort beautiful. The only negative was that the showers were very dated, yet hot. The bath house near us was not handicapped accessible, and I only saw one that was. Easy to find, signs along the road. We hope to return soon!

First of all, don't let the bridge scare you. This campground has very friendly staff and a attentive owner. The bridge looks narrow entering the campground, the road is behind a neighborhood and off the beaten path but close to the interstate. However, once entering the campground you will see the pride taken to care for this place. It was mowed, landscaped, and gravel was well graded. The playground was dated. The pool was clean. The bathrooms were some of the nicest we've seen. They were dated, but very well cared for and decorated with a like home feel. The showers were hot and had Delta faucets. There is a small store with 50 cent coffee (with a donation slot). Our site was pull through, fairly level. The staff closed the pool, but once they saw our kids in swim trunks, they reopened it for another hour. We had a bit of trouble with our holding tank, and they were eager to share their knowledge and assist by letting us use tools. They have been campers for years, and understand the lifestyle. We highly recommend this campground if you are looking for a friendly overnight stay. We will stay there again!
